I got this primarily because the 25oz is the largest vacuum insulated stainless steel jar I could find that fits in my bike's bottle cage. It was an upgrade to a clean 16 ounce bottle. The Klean Kanteen bottles are great quality but have a 20 ounce capacity for this diameter and they don't offer a variety of closures and I appreciate the lid which limits spills and allows for one handed access. I was pleasantly surprised by the innovative cap design of this bottle. I focused more on the container than the lid, but I recently got my daughter a hydroflask with a straw as an insulated, leak-proof cup, and while it doesn't get as strong over time, it's a lot more enjoyable to use. The button makes it easy to open with one hand (and my 17 month old daughter can't really open a straw on a hydro flask) and the ventilation is much better making it easier to drink from. I will add if there are problems with the bottle. So far, so good!
