It was easy to set up and install. The fittings that come with the kit leak, they have threaded flat sides, but you don't have to tighten them with a wrench. The only fitting I had with me was a quick coupler. Backwashing is easy and the fitting that comes with it works well. I had to tighten the lid, but other than that it doesn't leak. I straightened it up and put it on the board to keep the floor clean. I installed these first with a filter, then a water softener, then with a filter installed in our RV. The difference was immediately noticeable. The regeneration process seems simple, the amount and type of salt is designed to reduce running costs. Because it's on the outside of the black container and the included black neoprene jacket means I don't have to use the kettle as often.
