Failed to load media. We ordered these tiles for my son for a ninth grade mosaic project in ancient Greece. The tile thickness is perfect. They were thick enough to be strong and work with other tiles, but thin enough to be broken with tile tongs. At first I found the colors a little too strong. I didn't understand that after adding the grout the color is somehow muted. If we (yes, I definitely helped my son with this) could change one thing about the design, it would be to use bolder colors. It's also good that there's a variety of blues and greens, because mixing colors looks great in a mosaic. This kit makes it easy.
