I think this is the best way to keep my DVD collection compact. I've used plastic cases from Atlantic, but after a while I found that my DVDs were getting scratched and the plastic was getting brittle, so we went that way instead. Unfortunately, the book feels a bit flimsy - the fabric in particular, which zips up the outside, feels incredibly flimsy and I wonder how it will hold up over time. But actually I haven't found any other options that I think are better. DVDs and Blu-ray discs are very tight - in fact, I've struggled with almost every "gap" in the man-made tissue that holds them. But I can live with that, because then the panes are firmly in place and don't slip. It includes 100 inserts - that's the 'sleeve' that wraps around the outside of the DVD or Blu-ray case. Behind each insert are then two slots for the film and/or extra disc. Since two sets fit side by side, it's literally the most compact way of storing film I've found. I liked this concept so much that I bought another one for kids movies and a smaller version for game discs for our consoles. I suppose if they don't last long enough to justify their menacing fragility I'll just replace them for a small fee.
