I purchased this movement to replace a mechanical movement in a 45 year old Seth Thomas pendulum mantle clock which has quite a bit of sentimental value to my family. It took a careful rework of the "insides" in order to retrofit the new movement. I also had to engineer a way to mount the speaker and modify the back panel for the speaker grille and easy removal. The project came out wonderfully and the movement keeps extremely accurate time while allowing the original pendulum to swing in a decorative manner.I had a couple of issues which needed product support and the seller (as identified on the paperwork shipped with the movement) was extremely helpful and responsive when contacted via email.
