Review on 🩲 Men's Summer Code Jockstrap Underwear: Active Clothing and Supporter by Deejay Devarashetty

Very comfortable jockey except for one thing.

I was looking for something very breathable and cool for light exercise and sleeping. I'm 6ft 1in, 185 and ordered a large. The straps on them are a bit tight but still comfortable, and the bag is very comfortable and quite stretchy (I suspect an XL size would be too loose). I only have one small complaint and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. I noticed something odd about where the leg straps attach to the bag. A belt has twisted no matter how I adjusted it. I compared the design to an old sports brace I have. In both cases, the two leg straps are a single continuous strap that folds in half where it attaches to the bag. On older sneakers, the straps are folded at an angle of about 60 degrees at the point of attachment, so when worn, the left leg strap moves to the left and the right leg strap moves to the right, both fitting smoothly to the body. With this Summer Code Band, the band is folded right in the middle so that the two halves are exactly on top of each other. This would be fine with a thong where one strap goes under the buttocks, but with two straps neither can lie flat without twisting the other. I checked this by undoing the strap of the Summer Code pants and sewing them back to the pocket like old pants and the crease was completely eliminated. In fact, this is a design flaw. The weird thing is that it doesn't take any extra time in production to get it right. I've gone into detail in the hopes that the manufacturer will take note and fix the issue in the future, although I think it's unlikely they'll notice.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
