Update. Unfortunately I have to put an asterisk here because the USB-DVI problem simply cannot be solved. Updated to latest drivers, tried different cables, monitors, etc. The connection to the laptop via USB-DVI is reliable, no problems. Not sure what's going on, but for those with dual monitors, look for USB-C with dual HDMI. It's 2x more expensive, but a monitor failure during meetings isn't worth the risk! Original - First, if you're looking for a powered USB-C hub, it beats any competitor in terms of cost. Having worked exclusively from home since the pandemic began, I've missed the convenience of a docking station in my office. Although it's very expensive. This allows me to use two external monitors (an additional USB adapter for one), an external mouse, a keyboard (with additional USB ports), a webcam, and get power from a single port. I used to have to disconnect and reconnect 4-5 things every time I wanted to move around the house. Not only that, but also getting rid of the clutter on my desk so I can move the cables around much easier. In this price range there is no point not trying. The support team also responded to my questions very quickly.
