The Timex watch was sold new but refurbished and even came with a 30 day warranty card stating it was refurbished. The watch had a few scratches and scuffs. Also, I ordered a red display but they sent me a green display. We liked the green display better. It was part of several other Mother's Day gifts and I was embarrassed that it had been refurbished. It seems to be working, but let's see if it shows the correct time. The watch seems to work but consider buying from another seller who will give you a new watch if you pay for a new watch. I've seen several reviewers have issues with this, and so have I. It uses the last radio mode (AM/FM/AUX) and the station last listened to. So I had to turn on the radio, switch to FM, tune into a station, set the right volume and turn off the radio. Then when I set the alarm on the radio, it will wake you up with the radio.
