I drink water/tea constantly all day long. There's nothing I hate more than my fresh glass of iced water/tea melting and getting room temperature in a short period of time. With this awesome, insulated, 40oz mug I can fill up and have a cold drink for hours on end. So nice to have a 40 oz container of this quality to carry around. I used to have to carry two containers around, now I just need this one. It's huge, it's wide mouth, it's stainless steel, its double insulated, it should fulfill your needs and expectations. I'm more than satisfied with mine and it's been my only drinking container since I received it. Even the Ice will stay intact if the liquid you put in the container is already cold when adding the Ice. If it's not cold already, the ice may melt, but the drink will still stay cold.
