This is the only option when you need a replacement key fob. For the price you save so much money. I've watched a few videos on You Tube and would recommend that you do so before attempting to use this. This keychain and keys will work with your old electronics. Be careful when disassembling the old one and watch the video first. I used the key from my old key fob. The old and new are a bit different in size, so I had to use a drill to open up the hole a bit to get the key to swing properly. This was easy, just take your time and use a bit widening the hole a bit. I actually used 3 incremental sizes. I'm sorry I don't remember which size was correct. Also, the old key and the new key have slightly different angles. Once you install the new key, it will lock but not fully close. I put it in a vise and bent it a bit and now it's just like the original. Again be careful or you could break your key and then you will have to use the one sent. It will cost you as what you get is not cut and you have to pay for it. All you have to do with the spring is turn it half a turn and it works great with the key out.
