Our fridge freezer broke and was fixed under warranty. I bought these to have more control over the fridge/freezer working. I bought a set of 3 thermometers and figured I could use the 3rd one around the house. - They are very easy to read, alternating between C and F. - They look much nicer and more modern than old-fashioned dial thermometers. - They're not "exactly," but rather an approximate temperature. They differ by about 2-6 F from our fridge settings and about 1-4 F from each other (I swapped fridge and freezer thermometers to see if they gave the same reading before and after the switch). do not correspond to reality. The instructions assume the battery is in the device and you only need to remove the plastic cover to make contact. In fact, the battery is not installed, it is supplied separately and must be installed. Also, only 1 out of 3 had a plastic part. The other two didn't, and one of them had bent metal inside that kept the battery from touching. - It is very difficult to remove or put back the back cover (which you have to do to insert the battery). Typically in such devices the groove is equal to the width of the battery and the groove is deep enough to allow the battery to be used to open the lid. In this case, the groove is tiny (dime dime) but so shallow you can barely turn it. You will end up cosmetically damaging the device and ripping off the groove just to open it to insert the battery. In the end only 2 out of 3 worked. But I seem to have to send all three back because that's how Revane works :(
