Bluetooth Connection Frustrating for Automotive Chargers
The SmartSolar Controller promised all the bells and whistles, but unfortunately, the Bluetooth connection with my automotive charger was horribly frustrating. Through trial and error, I found that the connectivity was sporadic, making it difficult to trust the battery level indicator. As for the pros, the unit was compact and easy to install. But overall, the cons outweighed the pros for this product.
- Easy monitoring and control of solar panel and battery through Bluetooth connectivity.
- Bluetooth function requires a separate device to access, which could incur additional costs.
