I chose a Brondell filter for my elderly relative to replace two cartridges in a unit. Due to their age, it became almost impossible for them to change both filters and clean the cartridge case. The Brondell filtration system is easy to install. I have average skills and it only took 20 minutes. This involved removing the old leaky spout, which was the hardest part of the install. Luckily I was able to connect the intake pipe to the existing poppet valve. The instructions are easy to understand and the parts are packaged very well. The spout is metal unlike competing filter systems. Finally, quick release pliers make it easy to change the tube when needed. My relatives especially liked the easy replacement of the filter cartridge. A quarter turn is enough, and forward. Finally, the low battery indicator is a great feature. Highly recommended!
