Review on Walker Exhaust 51026 Exhaust Pipe: Superior Performance and Durability by Christopher Cortez

Must come with nuts

is the same as my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. What I don't understand is why an American company like Walker doesn't include suitable nuts for the bolts to be welded on. There was no documentation in the package, so I assumed (and we all know what happens when you assume) that the two screws would be US size. I checked the walker clamps and found they had 3/8 nuts so I looked at the bolt and found they weren't 5/16 nuts so I went to an auto shop and bought two 3/ 8 stainless steel nuts. And guess what? The bolts have a 10 mm thread. I'm assuming the original equipment part has 10mm studs or studs, so Walker decided to adapt this part to match the original. But why on earth wouldn't they include 10mm tube nuts, or at least include documentation with the part explaining to the buyer that these studs are not inch sized like the Walker muffler fork that comes with them. You just had to think about what would happen if the customer received the product without the nuts. Then they would understand, hey, we'd better put the nuts on with this, or people will mistakenly put the nuts on 3/8 and strip the bolt threads! I don't understand how they could have overlooked it. It doesn't seem to be a problem.
