The device is quite a good size and heavy. Installed in docking van and connected to transfer switch. Hooked up to four (4) AGM batteries and at almost full load it draws some current! Update - (1/12/2019) - after a few months of use this unit was working flawlessly. We even went camping and just left this unit on. At night it powers my CPAP and electric blanket (on low) all night, and during the day it charges the batteries using solar power, or I run my 2kW generator. I haven't ridden it much but deliberately increased it for durability. It works with our 1100W microwave oven with no voltage drop or problems. Note, however, that 1100W is equivalent to 91.7A on the 12V side. Make sure your conductors are the right size as this device draws some current. At full load, 2200 watts, this thing draws 183 amps from your batteries! I never plan on pulling more than one microwave for a VERY short period of time.
