I have been using Supreme filters for over 35 years. They are well built and designed. This is a great purchase. Worth a lot more than what you pay for. The filter assembly is solid, so you may need extra time to assemble it. The only downside is the removable plug on top of the intake pipe which allows air to enter the pump and makes noise. This can be fixed with silicone grease (not sealant) or petroleum jelly. After that it gets very quiet. Update: The best way to eliminate impeller noise is to remove the impeller from the shaft and apply silicone grease (no sealant) to both ends of the impeller shaft bore. Insert the shaft into the impeller and wipe off excess grease. Good gravel cleaner but works better if pumped too pale. For some people with limited water supplies, a gravel cleaner may be beneficial. It also takes too long to draw water from the well. The good thing is that nothing gets in the way.
