The bearings in my truck's heater motor failed and it started squeaking like a pterodactyl in the heat. Luckily, the replacement takes about 10 minutes to install: pull out the step plate, remove the glove box (6 bolts), disconnect the old motor, 3 bolts, reverse. It was 5 degrees (F) outside so I let the truck warm up first and worked with the door open and a basic cordless drill before it got cold. If you look at the most popular instructions on YouTube, this guy has a big problem with wiring harness placement or voltage or whatever. I think he was trying to extend the monetization time. It turns out that the old engine has long died, and this one is much stronger, more beautiful and quieter. Thank you Dibanyu!
