Review on ๐ถ๏ธ Le Creuset Salt and Pepper Mill Set, 8" x 2 1/2" โ Black & White: Premium Seasoning Duo by Pat Peoples
Non-ceramic, non-adjustable
I liked the look and thought Le Creuset meant quality. Unfortunately they were not up to the standards I expected and did not live up to the description. First, they are not ceramic, but plastic. This means that when they're about to boil, they start to melt (like mine). Second, they are not adjustable and the threads and adjustment have so little play that the knob keeps falling off and you have to leave it on super fine to keep it engaged. A few months later we were using a melted grinder with no handle. .
