These mirrors are much better than the junk wing mirror that came with my 2002 F350 SD/CrewCab/XL/SRW. It's almost a crime that this truck didn't come standard with mirrors like towing. These are clearly fakes, but they are of enough quality that I don't mind paying 1/4 of what a similar set would cost at the dealer. Flat mirrors are great, but the real benefit is the lower convex mirror, which lets you see what's directly behind and beside you without having to turn your head to make sure you don't hit anyone. Haven't towed a track with it yet, but maneuvering the trailer has been a lot easier. The flat mirror wobbles a little more than the factory mirror, but that's partly due to the truck's stiff suspension. I need to do some wiring as my truck is an XL, nothing runs from the chassis to the doors except for the speaker wires and the door lock sensor.
