Very useful in the kitchen and dining room

As a vegan I cut a lot of fruit and veg so I need something like this. It is very suitable for picking up sliced food from a cutting board. The flat metal part is solid and I like that the bottom isn't sharp so I don't cut myself. However, I am disappointed with the processing. There is a tiny sharp piece of metal on one side where the side rails are fused to the ground. And the blue wave detail covering the handle is glued on one side but not glued on the other side. This creates small gaps into which food and thus germs can get. I looked very closely and saw that even when glued correctly there are still gaps in the blue overlay where it doesn't fully cover the metal. It also creates small gaps where food builds up and can be difficult or impossible to remove. And when washing the device, water can get there, which can lead to mold and corrosion. As for the glue used, I'm assuming it's food safe, but how should I know? The packaging says Made in Vietnam. However, I use it daily. It works very well and I have no problems. When washing, I try not to get water on the handle for the reason mentioned. This one is better. The metal is heavier and the bezel is well designed to gently scratch my cutting board which another cannot unless used in reverse. Now, after a few months of use, I'm getting more and more impressed with it. The problem I mentioned of the possibility of water ingress was not a problem and it is very convenient to use. Apart from this small problem, which as I said did not cause any problems, it is clearly of good quality and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
