Review on 🔧 2.5 Inch Stainless Steel Butt Joint Exhaust Band Clamp Sleeve - 2pcs by EVIL ENERGY by Jonathan Jensen

My old rusted exhaust was so badly soldered to scrap I had to cut it off - the muffler pipe wouldn't slide out of the flared end like it should. Now, upon installing the new muffler, I obviously couldn't fit the *new* pipe into the old flared end as a piece of the old muffler pipe was stuck inside. Enter this simple but effective butt splice clip. I simply cut the new pipe to the correct length to create a butt joint, tied this band clamp and tightened everything. Works great and seems to have created a great print. Exhaust makes no noise, does not rattle. An excellent solution for connecting two pipes of the same diameter! I don't think I'd recommend using it where the tubes aren't supported on either side of the yoke, but as long as they're attached to the drawbar, that yoke holds the connection together very well!
