Because I've been doing a short haircut for decades, I have several hair clippers. Usually cheap in department stores but my last set was a more expensive Wahl model I got from Sally Beauty and I expected it to last longer but once dropped they were never the same. My wife wanted the new clippers to be cordless. Some research led me to Wahl Sterling Eclipse clippers. That was great! They cut cleanly in just a few passes, unlike other clippers I've had that you have to repeat over and over to get an even cut. For some reason Sterling Eclipse clippers with #1 guard cut shorter than my old clippers with this guard, even though my old clippers were choice too. This kit comes with #1/2 and #1-1/2 guards so you can no doubt find the length you want. These clippers cut better than any clippers I've ever owned, plus they're cordless and much quieter. They aren't cheap, but the quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.
