My printer printed smeared pages. I tried a new cartridge and different paper, but the problem persisted. I knew laser printers had drums, but didn't really know what they did, and while I've had several laser printers over the years, I'd never replaced one before. Decided to replace the drum. If that didn't work, I was ready to buy a new printer. To my great relief, installing this photoconductor solved the problem immediately - no more dirty pages. Next in the box were two drums. So I'm already prepared for the next drum exchange and the price was amazing. In short: I am completely satisfied!
