Life changes. until it stops working

Is your car going through a mid-life crisis itself? My Saturn was 2005. More specifically, tired of buying batteries and messing around with external FM transmitters. This FM modulator connects to your head unit with a two-way antenna connector (you can turn it on and off to use both a traditional radio and a crystal clear sound modulator). This is much better than VHF stations that try to use an "air" frequency with little or no broadcast signal, resulting in static and random cut-outs from the real station on long journeys. The modulator effectively turns off the antenna so whatever station you tune it to is crystal clear (for example the station I'm using actually has a strong transmit signal, so if I turn off the modulator I get crystal clear radio over the air ). , but when it's on, the signal doesn't work until I turn on the music via bluetooth). FYI, if you want to install it yourself, you need to take out the main unit and connect the power and ground wires. connect to an existing wiring harness, cigarette lighter, or other auxiliary power source. Make sure you don't connect it to a battery power source (e.g. a cigarette lighter that gets power even when the car is off) as the modulator is always battery powered and this could affect your keyless remote. with the locks of your car, trunk, etc.). The downside is that after 4 months, one day suddenly didn't turn on for no reason. I've followed the troubleshooting procedure for the DIP switches (which seems like an archaic way of communicating with the device), but there are no lights to indicate it's getting power. I checked the fuse and the power cord connection, but they were both good. I'm literally at a loss as to what to do with this now. I think I paid $16 a month. have you had bluetooth for 4 months? In my opinion, this device could have been amazing, but instead I'd say it probably just isn't worth the hassle. Save yourself the hassle and just buy a 12v FM transmitter. It's not that cool but I'd bet it will last longer.
