I was skeptical about this product as people said it couldn't connect to the PS4 but I'll give it a try anyway as it's the right price for what I'm looking for . At first I had the problem that I had no sound. It was frustrating but I realized I had to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. This solved the problem. I connected my PS4 Pro and my Revain Fire Stick to it and it pulled audio from the HDMI input so I could connect to my old stereo via the audio out (no HDMI or optical input). It works great and I love it. I still have an HDMI input so I can connect my laptop or camera later. Not only does this hub give you an extra HDMI input/switch/audio extractor, but it also saves me the time of having to pull out the back of my TV to connect that HDMI cable. Good product.
