When I ordered this I didn't realize it was going to be so annoyingly awful to move and adjust. It's garbage. The tray on which you place your laptop or tablet is metal, the legs are metal, but all the connections are plastic. Cheap, flimsy plastic. Worse, to make adjustments you have to press two blue buttons at once, one on each side, and even then you also have to use your hand, chest, or chin to control how much it adjusts. because as soon as you press the buttons, he immediately wants to bend down completely. There is no way I can safely set this up with my 17" laptop without risking my laptop falling to the floor. I use it as a stand on my desk so I can stand while working on my laptop. At least that's what I wanted to use it for, but raising and lowering my laptop into position while using this tray is a nightmare. I envisioned something more liquid when I went for it. I didn't realize I would have to press the buttons on either side while holding the tray with my chest and chin to keep it from falling all the way down. Then comes the problem of figuring out which buttons to press on which joints to get into the desired position. I mean it's terrible. Serious. Maybe if you want it to be a single position tray, maybe, but if you change the position of that tray a lot, from sitting to standing and vice versa, forget it.
