If you want to read a review, read this one!

Bought four of these CO2 alarms and placed them around the house. We have a propane stove, a gas stove and a gas water heater. The water heater is in a closet in my daughter's bedroom (home). The alarm worked for about two months without any problems. Then suddenly, one night at around 1:30 am, the alarm clock in my daughter's room went off. Per instructions on back of alarm 4 beeps = CO2 present. Turn off the alarm and set it to another one in the kitchen. About an hour later, the alarm clock in my daughter's room rang four more times. The fire brigade that was summoned responded with a CO2 sensor. High levels of CO2 have been detected from the water heater in my daughter's bathroom. As a result, the vent under the house was clogged with a mouse nest and had to be cleared. Since then I do not have problems anymore. After all that has been said, I thank God for bringing these alarms. Wouldn't have known about the presence of CO2, and who knows, he might never have woken up the next morning. If he leaves (4 rings), trust him! You never know. I don't usually fix many reviews but I definitely took the time to fix this one, she deserved it and may have saved my and my family's life. If you don't have a CO2 alarm at home and are thinking about getting one, stop thinking about it and buy one now!
