Frying pans are a bit odd and work with them a little differently than cotton flowers or the like. What can I say, I love this set. This is the first Prima set I've bought and I love the color palette and how creamy the colors are. I have not yet had the pleasure of using Sennelier-L'Aquarelle or Holbein paints but I can say that after using them I have been disappointed with how my Winsor & Newton tray set (one of my regular purchases) has held up the site moved compared to this. . There was no comparison. I felt like they were more opaque than not, but that's what I prefer about colors. You may like other brands better if you like translucent kits like Cotman tubes.
