Super cute jar, love the vibrancy of the colors and the easy starting point for skin tones!

I'm new to watercolor painting and technique but I bought 2 Prima sets (I think that's the face set and the tropical garden set?) and I love how vibrant they are! I think I overdid it a bit with my work, not sure, but I found the colors easy to use, nothing broke or cracked, the color cuvettes fit nicely in small travel tins (I really love the size of the tins and the mixing excellent palettes!) The cuvettes are interchangeable which is great! I would have loved to see more of the redโ€ฆ

Each color in this set is a duplicate from another set.

If you have other kits only buy double colors. I got these (all these sets) for Christmas. This is one of the first Swatches. I would have sent it back to my relatives for a refund if I had known each color was from a different set. 3 from Woodlands, 3 from Essence, 2 from Tropicals, 1 each from Classic, Pastel Dreams, Twinkle Lights and Pie Pack. If you don't have these kits then it's not a waste of money. If you do, skip "Face Colors" as there's nothing new here.

Fun Little Set, Cream

Frying pans are a bit odd and work with them a little differently than cotton flowers or the like. What can I say, I love this set. This is the first Prima set I've bought and I love the color palette and how creamy the colors are. I have not yet had the pleasure of using Sennelier-L'Aquarelle or Holbein paints but I can say that after using them I have been disappointed with how my Winsor & Newton tray set (one of my regular purchases) has held up the site moved compared to this. . There wasโ€ฆ

Do yourself a favor and buy this.

I'm new to the art world but I have a lot of different watercolor brands. This is my favorite brand. I know it's scary buying something so small for so much money, but do yourself a favor and buy this watercolor set. It fits in the palm of your hand and provides the perfect space for mixing and diluting colors. I personally love this set because it saves me a lot of time mixing colors to get the color I want. Don't get me wrong, I love mixing my own colors, but this set makes life so muchโ€ฆ
