I know there are newer models. I got the updated M9 mainly because a friend who also has Starlink internet service uses it and had no problem setting it up. I have to admit that the mesh network setup intimidated me at first (I'm not very tech savvy). But the TP-Link mobile app made it very easy. I was glad to get a Starlink Internet Dish, but I heard the router that came with it was very basic (which is good enough for 90% of users). We installed it in our cabin in rural Montana and we have plenty of space both inside and outside the cabin that we wanted to cover. With 3 M9 blocks supplied we were able to cover almost the entire 2 acres by placing the blocks near the windows so they covered a few rooms and a large part of the outside. So in short. Very impressed with the M9. And honestly, I can't think of anything the newer ones could offer me that would motivate me to replace them.
