It works! The solar board is light, strong and feels durable. Hooray! On the other hand, the wire should be thick, not because it's needed for the job, but because it seems more durable and sturdy. Next, all "positive" and "negative" connections are aligned when using in a box, but polarity issues arise when using multiple connections or extensions. You will then need to do a gender reassignment or swap connections on the battery. Such inconsistencies are annoying and should not happen. Finally, the small charge progress indicator lights up steadily when connected to a battery. This also applies when it is night and the panel is not exposed to the sun. Why are these lamps lit? They should not be included as there is no reason for it! I understand that they use very very little energy, but it is not necessary. It's also a bit confusing as it's supposed to have a diode to protect the battery from discharging. Other than that, it's a pretty solid product and does a great job of keeping my battery fully charged throughout the Pennsylvania winter.
