I usually buy these shoes for the comfort and durability, I don't really like skating. Comfort wise they didn't look good right away, it took me a long time to break these shoes in, until then they were stiff as a board and not very comfortable to wear. They are much more comfortable at the moment and seem to be standing the test of time quite well.
