Review on 🖍️ Kum 303.21.21 Magnesium Inner Sharpener: 2-Hole Design with Plastic Container in Assorted Colors by Carol Miller

This sharpener works great with the Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache Luminance and Derwent watercolor pencils which I currently use for my colored drawings. It creates a very sharp point quickly without breaking or chewing too much of my pencil, which is exactly what I wanted. I try to keep my crayons as sharp as possible for fine detail and this sharpener, along with a piece of fine 220 grit sandpaper, does the trick. But this sharpener also works amazingly well with soft graphite, wood-free graphite and charcoal pencils. I have also discovered that using these pencils to sharpen them here and there prevents oil and wax from crayons from building up on the blade. I assume this sharpener will also work well with soft pastel pencils, but as I rarely use them I haven't tried them yet. No wonder this sharpener works poorly when sharpening designer pencils in the H range, as the lead is too hard to form a long, thin point.
