Review on APSG Engine Oil Dipstick for GM Silverado/Sierra HD 6.6L Duramax Diesel V8 (Part Number: 97287502) - Accurate Oil Level Check by Brandon Barrett

Assembled in China. This matches and accurately shows the oil level in my 2005 Chevy Duramax 6.6 diesel truck. Although it doesn't move as smoothly in the dipstick tube as the OEM part, hence - 1 star. The description says Duramax and Duramax dipstick #97287502 but it's not a GM part. Although it seems well done. The description also says 6.1 6.0 6.4 8.1 which I think indicates different displacement engines. I don't think it will fit other GM engines as that part number is for the classic 01 through 2006 and 2007 Duramax. At around $25, that's half the price of a GM part, so I'm happy with the purchase. Time will tell if it performs as well or better than the OEM.
