Updated original review below. Well I spoke too soon. The blades will no longer return to the guide after using them 6 times. If they are even slightly out of alignment, it is impossible to correct them. Unfortunately Jaccard has to fix this issue as a potentially great product was wasted. I do not recommend. Good durable product with very sharp blades just what you need. I've used this on boneless chicken breasts, pork chops and less tender cuts of beef like the bottom half (London Broil), all with great results. I didn't have any problems with cleaning as some here have reported. The blade cartridge is easy to remove if you follow the instructions, and I found the plastic storage lid that came with the kit to be a great place to soak the blades in warm, soapy water. I don't see a need to remove the blade guide on the underside for cleaning as the slots are wide enough to be cleaned by soaking the unit in some soapy water and using a simple kitchen brush to come between. Lasts about 30 seconds. Once dry, the blade cartridge slides back in and I had minimal issues aligning the blades with the guide. In general I am very satisfied with this product, I recommend it.
