Stable dog food bowl, do not like as a water bowl

The bowls are stable as advertised and would appear to be very difficult for your pet to overturn. Our dog's food bowl does scoot a bit, but, I have his sitting on a mat which helps the bowl from being scooted too far. I bought two of these intending one to be used as his water bowl. It is a bit shallow for a large dog who is an energetic, eager water drinker, leaving more on the floor than in the bowl :) Is probably be better suited as a drinking bowl for a medium size dog. As a food bowl for a large dog, it does hold enough.

I bought this in large and thought it may be too big but its perfect size!

Cons

The bowls may not be suitable for outdoor use
