I ordered this to replace the oil filter on my Nismo CAI (actually we all know the truth now: it's a rebranded AEM!) for my 2004 G35 coupe to switch. . While the AEM website has a list of all their filters, it's a HUGE list with some subtle differences, and their support wasn't very responsive when I asked to confirm the correct part number for this particular application. If you want to be sure like me: This is perfect! I was happy to switch to Dry Flow as it's easier to clean, is standard on the new G37 intakes, was co-developed with K&N (should still flow well) and oily filters can cause problems with our mass airflow CVTs if excess oil penetrates through ingestion. It's a little tricky to install yourself (the main reason I wanted to be sure it would fit before ordering) but there are many posts on the G35 forum showing how to do it by removing the fender trim removed from the driver's side. Take an hour to remove a wheel (the extra space is worth it), tighten some clamps and #10 metric screws and you'll be glad you did - the car sounds better and accelerates noticeably softer. Even if it helps someone. I installed CAI around 2009 and replaced the filter in 2012. A few years, but I don't drive much at all. Some have reported being replaced after over 50,000 miles. In three years I've only invested 20-30k in the car (work, grocery store, occasional trips - I'm really trying to keep the engine). However, the oil filter I replaced was (IMO) DIRTY! I'm hoping a dry filter will "shrug off" bumps and other road vibrations more than an oil filter (from what I've read), but I still think minimal filter cleaning every 15-30k is a good goal for those who care about performance are possessed . Again, I'm pretty OCD. :-) Do it. You will not regret it!
