Always wanted a medium format camera, always wanted a zoom with good resolution, now I have both. Ergonomics: I would like to say that this is Fuji's best lens in terms of ergonomics, but unfortunately it's not that easy to use, the zoom is well weighted, but the aperture ring isn't the best, despite the "C" position makes what is beautiful better. Image quality: that's what everyone wants to know now. I can attest to this being excellent, I also have a 63mm prime lens which is a lot sharper, this lens isn't catching up on prime territory at f16, why that is I don't know. It can be used on f4, it erases at 5.6 and is great for f8-f22 f32, it falls apart for the most part and is good in a pinch. It's also softer at the wide end, with a sharp center at almost all openings and lengths. Conclusion: A wonderful lens, and really very useful, it works well as a short portrait lens, the bokeh is good, the build quality is good. big, and IQ is big.
