These lids are very small, but not so small that they are useless. I didn't have much trouble fitting it onto the Astro A40 mic, although it was noticeably snug. In fact, they didn't tear or stretch enough to allow air/wind to pass through the fabric. I gave a few away to friends as I only have one mic. Each of them could easily put them on. They're effective for mouth breathers, for people who have the mic too close - which is my fault - and for fans on low to medium settings. However, it's not as effective if you have a fan very close to the mic or if it's running at "leaf blower" speed/pressure. I highly recommend them, but I also recommend keeping them where you remember them. Keep spares in your bag as they can easily get lost!
