After using the fan for a few weeks, I found that the fans work properly if left on when not in use. At first I couldn't figure out why it keeps turning off after a short while. This was because the connection with the plug didn't work very well during charging. It doesn't latch well. Once I figured that out (with a little chuckle and making sure the tiny lights come on) it charges up as it should. When it's charged, the fan speed works very well and it's definitely powerful. One thing I don't like is the device that keeps the fan around your neck. It doesn't bend with the curve of my neck and is very firm. Being quite wide and lacking in grippy material also causes the fan to slip off my neck if I lean at any angle. I was hoping to use this in gardening but unfortunately it wasn't to be.
