This toy is made of strong and solid plastic. The greenish-blue parts are tuff, and strong, but have some give for chewing. The vest outfit that it is wearing is made out of even harder plastic that does not look like it would be as much fun to chew. This toy does not have a squeaker.*My dog Julie who is 10 year old Pitbull and Dachshund mix, thought it was an interesting toy. She enjoyed flipping it over and smelling it. She was very interested in its rope tail. Even though she is not a puppy, I got this for her since she is an aggressive chewer and she was jealous of her puppy sister's toy.
