It really worked! I completely rebuilt my 2017 Rochshox Monarch Plus with automatic sag. This kit includes gaskets for the Debonair cylinder which I obviously haven't used. I had to purchase separately: seal lube, 3w suspension fluid, 15w oil and an IFP adapter for my shock pump. All else I could do without is specialty bike tools, which are always ridiculously overpriced. On the internet I found a .pdf SRAM Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3/R service manual that showed me step by step what I had to do despite the slight model differences. Last year I ordered a 50 hour maintenance kit. All the time and effort was wasted after a tough ski season. If you want to disassemble your shock, do it right and order this complete rebuild kit. In the end you will understand it much better and be so proud that you didn't pay the same price in a suspension shop as you would for a brand new one.
