In general I advise you to buy something else. Used to replace a fluorescent lamp in a Harbor Cargo Lantern. It's slightly larger than the FC8T(/CWIRS and barely fits in, and the Harbor Freight's plastic cover is now somewhat damaged. However, it works. In the long run, it may seem less bright to you than the maximum brightness. It could hurt for your eyes works for me it's not expensive and i need the light right away and i'm a bit short on cash at the moment when my liquidity improves a bit i will buy a much better lamp to replace all those lamps and use it in the place i am i wish i had a light but i rarely use it, bursting and escaping mercury vapor seems like a very bad idea.
