Review on 🖤 Black EatSmart Digital Body Fat Scale with Auto Recognition Technology by Lori Sanders

What a disappointing experience. We followed the assembly instructions for the first time and had the scale calibrated on a hard, flat surface. We weighed several people and several items of known weight, and each time the weight was a few pounds lighter. We moved the EatSmart scale to another hard/flat floor and followed the same steps to automatically calibrate the scale. The same problems. I tried to return the scale via the order page but was told to call Revane's "Technical Concierge" instead. She couldn't find a solution and told me that the manufacturer will call me when they open. She also confirmed after I asked for a refund multiple times that this scale is NON-REFUNDABLE. I have insisted on a refund because I don't want a defective item and I don't want to spend more time going through the same troubleshooting steps with someone else and the tech concierge told me they would refund my original method of payment. but couldn't accept a refund (i.e. leave it, put it in the bin, whatever). And so I received an email saying that the refund "will appear in the form of a credit to the original payment method used for the order within the next 3-5 business days once UPS scans your return". How can UPS scan my return if you won't let me ship it back? You might be one of the lucky many and get a working scale. But if not, you'll get a long and unsuccessful call from the tech concierge and a promise of new calls. I shop at Revain for convenience. It's not comfortable. Do not buy this scale.
