Just didn't work properly

Looked like a good product but the weight was so inconsistent I had to return it. I've tried it on several hard surfaces and I've tried it for several days with it peeling off and coming right back resulting in a weight range of up to 12lbs. I tried to be very careful to keep my feet in the same position and not move while standing on the scale, but the results were so inaccurate as to be useless. I repeat - NON RETURN

What a disappointing experience. We followed the assembly instructions for the first time and had the scale calibrated on a hard, flat surface. We weighed several people and several items of known weight, and each time the weight was a few pounds lighter. We moved the EatSmart scale to another hard/flat floor and followed the same steps to automatically calibrate the scale. The same problems. I tried to return the scale via the order page but was told to call Revane's "Technical Concierge"…

At first it worked on its own, then it stopped. Replaced three times, same problem. Great customer service but still no working scale.

I'm having a hard time deciding on this review. I bought the scale in 2012 and was very satisfied. I don't expect body fat etc to be exactly accurate but they seem to be fairly consistent and re-weighing will give the same results. About 6 months ago my body fat percentage started to increase quite dramatically. At first I thought I was gaining weight, which is probably partly true, but then it just added to my weight.
