I flashed this for use with Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant using a Raspberry Pi and some alligator clips. I had to bend the pins to install the clamps but it wasn't difficult. It is good value for money and works as expected. The range is not great. If you are willing to wait for shipping from China, you can get it with an antenna for a similar price on other sites. If you're like me and want it to be more timely, this is the way to go. It pairs seamlessly with both devices I've tried so far (SmartThings button and Aqara temperature and humidity sensor). The range is okay. I have 1400 sqm. foot, and it stretches from end to end, but doesn't work from a garage or yard. If I had been more patient I probably would have gotten one with an external antenna but I don't regret it.
