Bought to replace 3 whistling radiator fans that were threatening to drive me insane. So, best of all: no more whistling! They're pretty calm and my pace has slowed down a bit. I don't really like RBG so can't speak for special effects, but the light is nice and bright and matches my case fans without any special calibration. I like having only two cables for three fans! More manufacturers should do that. My only complaint is the build quality. I attached the bezel to the heatsink by turning a screw in a far corner until it started to turn, then moved to the opposite corner. The holes are short, about a millimeter. No amount of manipulation and catching would have allowed me to tighten the last pair of screws on the other end. All the middle holes lined up nicely and I thought I could live without a pinned end, but...it happened. Then, when I booted back up with the frame attached to the heatsink, three thin lines of light came out between the heatsink and the frame, one along each fan between the screws, projecting a horizontal beam onto the opposite wall. . I'll take it to the whistle any day, but it seems a bit sloppy. I would have liked a stiffer frame.
