The reason I bought these mugs was for the simple fact that they belong in the 'goldielox zone'. I use them to mix carbon fiber and fiberglass resin. Oftentimes, a regular 8 ounce mug won't do, and in large jars it's difficult to ensure you're getting a good mix of hardener. These mugs are quite tall, which means you can grab a stirring stick from the side and pile the mixture up the entire side of the mug pretty quickly. If you have a mix with a short expiry date, you can quickly and safely start laying your fabric. The 16-ounce capacity also means you can mix for small to medium-sized projects and focus on wetting without having to stop and mix another cup. The cup is also wide enough to fit a medium sized brush to the bottom.
