Review on ACDelco Professional TF289 Auto Transmission by Jeff Rhodes

This filter was incorrectly listed as fitting my 1999 Chevy K1500 pickup. Using this filter can cause transmission errors as it has too short a neck to ensure it stays in place. I have a 4L60-e transmission with a stepped (deep) oil pan. Buy a filter that is 4 1/2 inches overall height rather than this filter that is only 4 inches overall height. As such, my review reflects the damage that can be caused by a supplier claiming a part will fit when in fact it doesn't. It seems like a violin would "fit" in a cello case. NO!
