WiFi connection didn't work

I couldn't connect and returned it. PS Just in case anyone is wondering, I have a dual band router that supports the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands at the same time. Most smart devices, including outlets, require the 2.4GHz band, and I've been able to connect smart speakers, GoSund smart outlets, and most recently, a light strip, and over 10 Philips Hue bulbs (yes, it's addicting if you have done it once get started). I'm just sharing this to illustrate that it's not because of my router or internet range that I can't connect this smart extender :-/
